Echos of Tomorrow is more than an album. It's a look back—and a look ahead. A homage to the golden age of synthpop in the 80s and 90s, inspired by Depeche Mode, Visage, Soft Cell, New Order and the spirit of an era when machines conveyed emotions. Created from over 700 rendered songs and 50 different prompts, this work is the condensed result of weeks of creative work between man and machine. A blend of melancholic darkness, electronic precision, and emotional depth united in 14 select tracks that blend past and future.

The songs range from darkwave, synthwave, melodic electro, and modern house. Each track carries a piece of retro DNA, embedded in a contemporary club structure, refined by atmospheric vocals, shimmering pads, rolling basslines, and pulsating arps. The album tells stories of memory, transience, and digital loss—but also of hope, new beginnings, and a clear light at the end of the tunnel.

A project that thrives on a deep love of electronic music—supported by Suno AI and accompanied by an audiovisual aesthetic that runs through it like a red neon thread. Youtube Video with all 14 Tracks > AI Projects \ Music Videos.

Happy New Year,

and welcome to the new Monolab website. Unfortunately, the restructuring took far more time than I had initially planned. The original plan was to transfer the website to WordPress and breathe new life into the story. Unfortunately, I didn't really warm to WordPress; it was somehow too sterile and too generic. Then I considered Zeta Producer as an alternative, but it didn't warm up. I was almost ready to abandon the Monolab.de Reloaded project until I came across Blue Griffon.

Some articles or news simply need more space, which would exceed the scope of the news page. Therefore, there is a small content system for extensive news or release information, both to avoid flooding the news page and to provide more comprehensive information on certain topics... >continue reading News / Content<

Immerse yourself in the emotional depths of this deep house track, which speaks of intense feelings and the dark side of love. With hypnotic beats and haunting vocals, the song explores the fragility of relationships and the fear of falling too deep. Let the atmospheric sounds and thoughtful lyrics transport you to a world full of longing and reflection.

The previous text is the original description from YouTube and was "improved" with the help of Chat GP4. It's truly amazing what ChatGPT, Gemeni, or LeChat, for example, deliver. Not to mention the help with the lyrics from AI Music Releases, the active support for this website (the pop story is entirely from ChatGPT4), and countless prompts for the cover art and graphics. Without AI, I would never have been able to design the new Monolab page like this, and the visual implementation would have been far simpler.

Emotional Worlds thrives on its vocal line and voice. By the way, this track was my contribution to the Project Odessey competition.

Disco is back – with a modern twist!

Get ready for 9 electrifying disco-house tracks that blend vintage funk, groovy basslines, and modern house beats into explosive dancefloor action! Whether you're into Daft Punk, Purple Disco Machine, or classic Chic vibes – this compilation combines the best of the past and the future.

It's really amazing what you can get out of the Suno V4 engine if you work on the prompt long enough. However, you're slowly reaching the engine's very clear limits. Regular vocals are sometimes fantastic, and my rap excursions are absolutely insane; a casual player wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Beyond that, however, PSY Trance tracks, for example, are barely possible – Suno really has a problem with the bass. The same actually applies to drum and bass, although for Hybrid I really squeezed the engine to the limit and probably rendered 500 tracks. Since Suno renders everything, typical filter loops or heavy DNB beat loops aren't possible, and the rendered beats generally sound rather mediocre compared to DNB. Be that as it may, Back to the Disco is simply a blast. An example of this is Weekend Fever on the right.

The second AI album from our "street rappers." You grow with your challenges, and on the second album, I adapted the structure of the lyrics and deliberately incorporated drops or breaks within the individual parts. Even breaks with extensive scratching are now possible with Suno, as are various effect drops. The vocals are still truly sublime, and if you play this stuff to uninitiated people, they wouldn't be able to tell that these are "AI rappers."

The style guidelines have also been changed. While initially, the style was something like rap, hip hop, and the like, this section has already grown to almost 20 lines. Specific information about various subgenres or artists, or what the mood of the song should be. With Suno v4, you have truly extensive options. The videos also took a step forward. Leonardo.ai was used predominantly.

This time, there are 8 tracks with 3 themes. As always, the download includes the cover art, lyrics, and the tracks. On the right side of the hearthis player you will find an example of the first track as an Original Mix.

If you can fix it - remix it...

If the title brings technotronic to mind, you're right. Decades ago, there was a remix album by Pump up the Jam. When I'm in my old school phase, the neighborhood gets it in the form of technotronic. The original by Pump up the Jam is, for me personally, one of the best dance tracks of all time. It can really only compete with KLF (What Time Is Love / Trance Version), Humanoid (Stakker Humanoid / Acid), or Jolly Roger (Acid Man). I've been working on a remix for years, but none of them have passed my personal quality control. :-) This remix album is something of a small homage.

For the 8 new mixes (2 solo releases), I used a new prompt technique with Suno within the lyrics section. I really think the result is amazing—these days, you'd say epic in such moments—but let's just stick with one. The download package includes the 6 tracks from the remix album as well as the two solo releases. AI Music is still running outside of the Monolab releases, and I don't plan to change that in the future. An example of this is the extremely cult Sounds Like French Mix on the right side of the hearthis player.

RAP or Hip Hop at Monolab? Guest rappers? What's up, what's up? Don't worry, for one thing, you don't have to endure any rap from me personally, that would be a disaster, and for another, I haven't purchased any expensive licensed vocals. Alternatively, I don't have any cheap standard vocals either.

If you follow my YouTube channel, you'll notice that I'm currently playing around a lot with AI. This includes Suno and various prompts and lyrics. "Streets" is the result of spending many hours with ChatGPT4, polishing lyrics, and trying out some very experimental prompts with Suno.

The whole thing is outside of the normal Monolab productions. If you want to discover my other forays into the AI world, I highly recommend the YouTube channel. There you'll find not only music clips, but also various AI video experiments. As mentioned, the "album" doesn't have an official release number, but there is a typical download package: MP3s and the lyrics to rap along to. :-) At hearthis you can find the first track as an Original Mix.

Hail the joys of electronic entertainment!

After 8 years, things sometimes turn out differently than you expect, and you're back in the thick of it faster. Perspective is the result of many years of extensive optimization of sound quality and song arrangements. I definitely wanted to move away from the typical soundtracker sound and toward the typical sound of the big wide world.

I simply think many will be surprised by the Cosmic Reloaded 2.0 sound.

Once Comeback 2.0 has been successfully launched and everything is as it should be, I'll finally tackle the modern website, and hopefully the new releases will find a new stage. Incidentally, the Deep House track (Release 90) will be released on the old website this week.

Aside from the return after 8 years of abstinence, one can celebrate something like a 25th anniversary. Monolab was born way back in 1999, and my first release (more or less) was already on Paradies in 1986. If I remember correctly, it was an Amiga 500 sound disk story. With this release, the ZIP names of the respective releases are also changing. We're now allowing ourselves more than 8 characters, and the MP3s will also have the corresponding CD covers. Otherwise, everything remains the same.

The next release is already in the pipeline and will be out in the next few days. A deep vocal house track. Since I don't want to deviate from my philosophy of free downloads for free people, there's now a PayPal donation link. It's been proven on Twitch, and if it helps you get some sample or expansion packs, I'd be happy. The Nexus 5 update is also coming soon. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Howdy Fans,

You hear it all the time: those thought dead live longer. At least for myself, I can confirm that saying, and seven years ago I emerged from Trancentral or Nirvana for the second time.

After celebrating something like a comeback after ages in 2016 and releasing a few tracks, this comeback was supposed to end quite quickly in the fall of 2017. The whole dilemma started back in 2016, when I supposedly had a severe viral infection at the beginning of the year and was completely off track for several weeks. I recovered successfully, and the rest of 2016 went off without a hitch. At the beginning of 2017, the same thing happened – a virus – out of existence for several weeks, and then recovered and stabilized again. But over the next few months, I had recurring health problems, which naturally put a halt to my music and regular work, and I just wanted to get through the day.

Then came September 2017. On a gloomy Sunday—no, I don't know, it was probably a normal Sunday—I felt really bad. Circulatory problems, dizziness, and every movement was a marathon. Dizziness and circulatory problems were practically unknown to me until then, and by the following Monday, things were getting worse rather than better.

My new family doctor initially suspected my old virus, but checked my blood work just to be on the safe side. Well, the heart results weren't particularly encouraging and led me straight to the emergency room. After the obligatory checkup, they incorrectly diagnosed me with myocarditis, with a cardiac catheterization scheduled for the next day. Not pleasant, but the inflammation would explain the problems and would be easy to treat.

The next day, I was taken straight to the operating room. During the examination, a contrast agent was administered, and thanks to this agent, among other things, I was off duty for a while. There was no white light or any images of my previous life to be seen. At some point, I returned with a terrible headache and was completely out of it. I was taken to the intensive care unit due to the heart attack and briefly passed out, met many new people, and was given many new drugs. Before the heart attack, no medication, afterward, eight different medications.

To keep a long story short, what followed were truly annoying and painful years. Three or four more hospital visits, problems caused by the medication, and all sorts of aftereffects. I was glad that my employer more or less couldn't do without me, but music or other leisure activities were out of the question. The first four years were really bad at times, but I've stabilized quite well since then.

The advantage: after 35 years, I quit smoking in 2017. The disadvantage: I gained 35 kilos due to the changed metabolism.

Anyway, I hadn't completely given up music, but I only really got going again this year. In the meantime, I've added a Vengeance Avenger 2.0 to the ReFX Nexus, which has significantly expanded my capabilities.

I've also added a few new effect plugins and various sample packs. A new provider with far more space and unlimited traffic has joined the mix, and in addition to Soundcloud, Hearthis, and this website, I'll also be adding YouTube music video releases in the future to expand into this area as well. YouTube, however, will only be for the new releases. There will also be a new website, but that won't be until after Comeback 2.0, Cosmic 3.0, or the next Reload—whichever you prefer. :-)

Don't pin me down, but by Christmas at the latest, I'll have a melodic techno album and a fat vocal deep house track. Both the sound quality and the music itself have improved quite a bit... I'm really curious to see how and if there will be any feedback at all. :-)

With that in mind, if you have any questions, just write to me or wait until the music hits the fan.
